Do you want to grow

at your youth club?

Use high quality feedback to measure and improve player experiences to keep them coming back

Surveys Done Better

Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit helps youth soccer clubs benefit more from feedback to enable the best possible player experience. Our most popular service is the Parent Survey where we collaborate with club leadership to:

The more you know about what’s working, and what isn’t, the faster you can improve

Ask

We ask powerful questions, that are highly correlated with retention, in a survey that consistently achieves high response rates. If you can improve your survey scores, you’re also likely to increase retention, grow your club, and create even more great experiences than you already are.

The Satori survey process includes:

Acquire contact information
Prepare survey
Administer survey
Deliver results

Learn

With the help of interactive reports and 1:1 support from Satori, you can gain objective insight into player experiences throughout the overall club, or for each:

Program
Staff member (ex. Age group director)
Coach
Team

Once you start taking action from the survey, you can also measure the effectiveness of those action with future results.

Improve

Take action and help your club achieve its potential. Some examples of ways you can use the results:

Identify programs with room for improvement and measure progress over time
Find consistently exceptional coaches and share their insights
Use coach and team results to build better coaching slates for the year ahead
Enhance coach development conversations with insights on strengths and weaknesses
Support teams with unusually low survey scores to help them improve

Great Experiences Keep Them Coming Back

Top five questions

Since club size impacts the amount of work required to provide the service, our pricing is:

$1,000 for the first 1-1,000 players. Beyond that, there is an addition $0.30 per player.

For example, a club with 1,500 players would cost $1,150. ($1k for first 1k players + ($0.30 * 500 players)

We cap this expense at $3k per season for very large clubs.

Most of our clients used to run their own surveys with tools like SurveyMonkey and Google Forms. For them, transitioning to Satori has had the following benefits:

1. Less time spent administering surveys. More time spent finding insights and taking action.

2. High response rates. Thus far (as of summer 2025) working with Satori has increased response rates for every client compared to when they ran their own survey. Higher response rates creates higher confidence that you know what is actually going on, especially when analyzing results at the coach and team levels.

3. Your club’s relative strengths and weaknesses emerge when compared against Satori benchmarks. As of Summer 2025, we have parent survey data from more than 40 clubs over the past year; the more clubs that join, the more valuable and precise the benchmarks become.

4. The quality of survey administration and results analysis is very high with Satori. We specialize in surveys and can spread the cost of development across many clubs. Our dream is to provide an exceptional feedback process that every club can afford. We only charge what is needed for our nonprofit to sustainably serve.

5. Contribute to something larger than yourself. By working with Satori, you are choosing to collaborate with a growing number of clubs across the country that share your passion for creating consistently great player experiences. The more clubs that work together, the better our collective understanding will be of what works, what doesn’t, and how to improve.

We have a carefully designed set of seven required questions and two optional comment boxes. Each required question is highly correlated with retention and is relevant to every club no matter that age or level of players you serve. Due to it’s concise nature, parents normally complete this survey in less than two minutes unless they choose to provide comments. We find this concise and powerful set of questions to be a key contributor to high response rates.

That said, we also allow for clubs to add one or two additional custom questions. These questions must be worded as a statement and use the standard 1-5 point agreement scale (5 = Strongly Agree, 4 = Agree, 3 = Undecided, 2 = Disagree, 1 = Strongly Disagree).

For example: “The new clubhouse has been useful and feels like a valuable addition to the club.” Parents can then rate whether they agree. And if they have comments, they will have opportunities to provide them within our two comment boxes.

Let us know if further customization is required and we can often accommodate requests for at an affordable hourly rate.

Our clients have found that the two best times to run a parent survey are:

1. Midseason. By collecting feedback in the middle of the season, your staff has time to take action before the season ends. This requires that your staff has time to study the results and react. If so, this is a great option to ensure parents see your commitment to making sure no team is left behind. In this approach, you should open the survey a minimum of six weeks before the end of the season so that you’ll still have at least four weeks to take action.

2. Postseason. For clubs that already have full midseason workloads or would prefer to evaluate their service after it has been fully provided, opening the survey at the end of the season is recommended. This provides the data when club staff are best prepared to learn and innovate. If you take this approach, we recommend opening the survey during the last one or two weeks of the season while parents are still engaged.

Tryouts, or Player Placement, is an important consideration when deciding the timing of your survey. The timing of your survey is completely your choice, but keep in mind that the close to tryouts/player placement that your survey is, the more that process will impact feedback. That may be exactly what you want, or you may choose a different release date to suit your needs.

We agree! Imagine a youth soccer landscape where we care just as much about coach experience and retention as we do about the players. For any club already doing the Parent Survey, you can add this Coach Survey for an additional $800 per season. Coach Survey results will be provided in the same analysis tool used for the Parent Survey results.
