Once upon a time, a guy named Adam was coaching kids at Rapids Youth soccer club in Colorado. He found such joy and purpose through coaching that he left the corporate world in 2017 to focus full-time on youth soccer.
Some of his family and friends thought he was a bit nuts but supported him none-the-less. Despite Adam believing that primarily he was a good coach, the thing he did that people talked about most was his analytics on postseason parent survey data. The more he tinkered with participation analytics, the more ideas, introductions, and opportunities arose.
Eventually, in Spring of 2019, Adam realized (with help from his friends at Rapids Youth) that while he was making a difference as a coach, he might actually make a larger impact on youth soccer if he provided a service that didn’t exist–helping clubs measure & improve player experiences. From there, Adam scoured the earth for the other most awesome Adam he could find and the nonprofit Satori was born.

Hi, my name is Adam and I’m living the dream. Life isn’t always rainbows and unicorns, but I’m grateful that every day I get to do work that makes a positive difference in the lives of others. When I’m not spending time with family, you can find me passionately coaching young soccer players or doing whatever else is needed to make the rest of our Satori services be successful. Before I worked in youth soccer, I had an enjoyable career in investment finance, management consulting, and corporate management. I try to use this mixture of experiences to bring something different and valuable to the organizations we serve.

My name is also Adam and, together with my good friend, I’ve been able to work to make a small difference in the lives of thousands of kids from all walks of life. I intuitively find life lessons from sports, and when I’m not considering the ethics of the European Super League and NCAA college football conference realignment, I’m volunteering at church with my wife, Emily. Before I started with Satori, I once dreamed about being a brash, macho character from a spy movie… then I woke up and decided I was better off staying the same unassuming, soft-spoken, friendly tech guy I am today. Building analytics systems is an enjoyable challenge for me and I’m glad I get to put it to use for the benefit of others.
At Satori, we aspire to live joyful, humble, productive lives. The less we need for ourselves, the more we have to give. We’re here to give as much as we can.
We envision a youth sports world where children of any age, gender, or ability feel like they belong. Every child with an interest has the capacity to learn the game, improve on the field, make friends, and learn life lessons along the way.
Great clubs and associations across the globe are making this happen every day. If you are one of these organizations, or aspire to be one of these organizations, we want to work with you.
