Georgina founded Healing Heart in June of 2021. She has quickly built the organization from a niche afterschool program that reached only a handful of students per day to a burgeoning arts advocacy organization that is currently serving over 700 students. By expanding the Studio’s program offerings and leveraging the power of hundreds of trained volunteers, HHS has been remarkably successful in helping its participants overcome unthinkable barriers to healthy early childhood and adolescent development wrought by domestic and sexual abuse. Georgina holds a Masters degree in Social Work from NYU.
